Doggone hot in Washington, DC!

Washington, DC’s summer weather is doggone hot! 100 degrees maybe more.  Early today in Buddy Attick Lake Park in Greenbelt, MD my new friend John was making sure his dog was getting relief.

  1. I spent a week up in DC last summer and even as a Florida girl, I was completely miserable! I’m used to the heat but DANG! DC is a whole different kind of beast all together. I had joint tickets for Fords Theater and the Petersen house but it was so hot that while I was waiting in line to get into the house I felt like I was going to faint. DC is no joke, pack water!

    1. Hi Elle,
You got that right. It does get hot here and we have the humidity to go with it. I thought DC was hot until I went to Florida in August. I think Orlando has DC beat.
Funny you mentioned Ford’s Theatre! I volunteer there as an usher sometimes.
